Finally, The 1st phone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset has been confirmed. Guess the brand name?
Well, It’s neither Samsung nor Oneplus. None of them are in the race of releasing the first Android phone with the latest premium chipset.
Sky Lee the founder and CEO of Realme confirmed Realme GT 2 Pro will be the 1st phone with the newest Snapdragon chipset. But all these leaked before being announced by officials. Vice president and chief executive officer of Realme India Mahadev Seth leaked it first.
He talked about a premium flagship smartphone from Realme. But all these were confirmed by Sky Lee. The company officially announced that the Realme GT 2 pro is going to be the first phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
We have heard a lot about the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 soc. There are many rumors floating around us about it.
Sometimes we get news of changing the name. Because sequentially the next premium flagship processor of Qualcomm should be named Snapdragon 898.
However, the older leaks of the Realme GT 2 Pro told us about some important specs. It would be a 6.8inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
It includes 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM. At this time we do not have an idea whether it has other variants or not. The storage is an obvious UFS 3.1.
The back camera should be a triple camera system. It contains a 50MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera. As far we know the selfie camera is 32MP. You will be supposed to see the Realme UI 3 in Android 12.
Along with Realme, Samsung’s Galaxy S22 lineup, Xiaomi Mi 12 and Oneplus 10 Pro will launch with the same processor. But none is going to be the 1st phone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Chipset.
All these phones will be available next year. So 2022 is going to be a great year for tech lovers like us.
