New iPhone SE 2022 – First Impression

Ending a lot of rumors, the new iPhone SE 2022 has just been released. Last Tuesday at an Apple launch event this mid-budget iPhone was introduced. There are some satisfying and some surprising facts about this smartphone. So Let’s talk about our first impression after getting a glance at this smartphone.

So now nothing can be a rumor because the actual phone and specs are officially announced. By the way, it’s not a hand-in review. So first let’s talk about the best and the worst part. The best part is the latest 5G processor that is A15 Bionic. It’s the same processor used in the flagship iPhone 13 lineup

In this case, Apple holds the tradition of using the best chipset in a compact size phone. It’s obviously the key factor for cost-cutting. But here is a question. Are we sacrificing the size only to make it almost half of the flagship’s price? The answer is an absolute no.

It’s not a phone that comes in a mini shape of an iPhone 13 body. If you look closely, lots of changes have been made here. Well, the surprising fact is you will see the previous iPhone SE caching. It reminds us of the iPhone 8 model. It looks so similar that you will find the legendary touch ID instead of FaceID.

The display is the same 2020 SE display. We were really surprised to see a single camera hole in the back. It is actually rare these days. But the new iPhone Se holds a 12MP rear camera. Nothing else. The Selfie camera is oddly 7MP. But the A15 chip should maintain better image processing.

You will surely see some improvement from the last SE model. Features like smart HDR4 and deep fusion are included here. However, the compact size and the 5G processor should be a reason for poor battery performance. But one relieving point can be the power-efficient 5nm processor.

It’s a big question how large the battery is because we didn’t find a sharp number about the battery mAh. So our first impression about the new iPhone SE 2022 is mixed. But the phone is obviously solid. Because it has the same chipset that an $1100 iPhone carries. Until the launch event of the iPhone 14, it can be the last iPhone with the A15 chipset.
